Where did you grow up and what was your first language?
I grew up in Harlem, NYC. "Splangish" was my first language.

Where did you go to college?
I earned my Bachelor's degree from Berkeley College NYC. Later on, I obtained a Master's degree from Teachers College, Columbia University. I'm currently pursuing a second Master's degree at the City College of New York.

What is the best part of teaching at Hamilton Grange?
The best part of teaching at HGMS is the incredible community of students and teachers. The students at Hamilton Grange are curious and creative, which makes teaching here a rewarding experience. Our teaching staff is passionate about education and committed to creating a positive learning environment. I feel privileged to have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on our students' lives and witness their remarkable growth and achievements.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not teaching?
When I'm not teaching, I enjoy spending time in nature, exploring the great outdoors and traveling. Being surrounded by trees, fresh air, and the beauty of the natural world brings me a lot of joy.
