I grew up in Brooklyn, NY and my first language was the English language.

I wish I could find Fort Greene Park in New York City, a place where I go for deep solitude and meditation.
Where did you go to college?
I went to Nyack College and majored in religious studies.

My favorite book in middle school was Booker T. Washington Up from Slavery.

The best part of teaching at Hamilton Grange is the practice of culturally responsive teaching.
What is your favorite thing to do when you are not teaching?
My favorite thing to do when I am not teaching is to participate in community activism, motivational speaking, and finally, I enjoy stand up comedy.
